Canada's United Nations (UN) Ambassador Bob Rae has attended an emergency meeting in Jamaica about the crisis in Haiti, where gang violence is only escalating.
More Haitians are dying or being forced to flee their homes as the crisis spirals out of control, while close to 3,000 Canadians are stranded in the island country.
