A TSAA investigation into the Ontario-based theme park Canada’s Wonderland continues after a malfunctioning ride left guests hanging upside-down for 25 minutes on Saturday evening.
Global’s Catherine McDonald spoke with a guest who witnessed the harrowing experience and recounted her thoughts in the moment.
“I just kept praying to God that none of the safety belts came off. I didn’t want anyone to fall off of the ride,” said Jiashira Rivera.
The rotating thrill ride, Lumberjack, was fixed at approximately 11:05 p.m. and guests were unloaded immediately. The attraction remains shut down as the investigation continues.
