Canada’s first planetarium reopens to the public after 40 years

The Queen Elizabeth planetarium in Edmonton’s Coronation Park originally opened in 1960 as the first public planetarium in Canada. The building was closed 40 years ago when a new facility opened, but it’s now been restored to its original glory for a new generation of science lovers.
