Getting the homeless vaccinated should be a priority. One of society's most transient groups. Exposed to COVID in crowded shelters and at risk of complications if infected. Health officials say it's of the utmost importance to include the less fortunate in the vaccination drive to effectively combat Covid-19. They often have no medical support at all or are in poor health. Many have not seen a doctor for years.

Charities are reaching out, but support varies from city to city. DW's reporter Juri Rescheto found out, an initiative in Saint Petersberg is reaching out to those living on the streets.
