The Tokyo Summer Games may have just wrapped up in Japan, but the next Olympics will already be underway in just months with the 2022 Winter Games in Beijing.

But despite excitement for most athletes and audiences, some critics and countries may not as be as eager to see competition again so soon.

As Crystal Goomansingh reports, there are growing calls to boycott the Games over China's spotty human rights record— from the allegations of genocide over its Muslim Uighur population, to its cratering relations with Canada over arbitrary detention.
