A Calgary family is pleading for help to end a nightmare they’ve been living with for years.

“Everybody is ringing my doorbell,” says homeowner Danielle Haberlack.

And everyone who comes to her home asks the same question: are you renting your house?

“People are showing up saying, 'but I’ve spent money,'” said Haberlack.

She says this has been happening for six years, ever since she and her husband put their house up for sale and a scammer used the photos to post fake rentals.
