Following the tabling of Canada's latest federal budget, interim Conservative Party Leader Candice Bergen wasted no time on Thursday in slamming the Liberal government's plan, specifically criticizing their housing plan.

Bergen said the budget has "out-of-control" spending and believes there's "no plan for growth or productivity."

Plus, the NDP may be working together with the Liberal government, but leader Jagmeet Singh said he still disagrees with parts of the newly-tabled federal budget.

"We're concerned – deeply concerned – about the approach on the environment, particularly the carbon capture, which there's lots of concerns of whether that is effective or not," he said.

The Justin Trudeau's Liberals have more than $85 billion in new spending room from a booming economic rebound and plan to spend some windfall on a series of measures aimed at keeping the good growth going.
