After more than a week of bombardment, rumours spread in the Shujayea neighbourhood in northern Gaza that Israeli forces would be withdrawing
So people returned to their homes.
But attacks increased leading to people fleeing the area.

Local journalist Ibrahim Al Khalili was at the scene and sent us his eye-witness account
