NASA this year successfully landed its fifth rover on Mars, the Perseverance, confirming it touched down safely on the red planet's surface. Perseverance is the most technologically advanced robot NASA has sent to date and it aims to remain there for two years to explore the planet's surface. Neil deGrasse Tyson, astrophysicist and director of New York's Hayden Planetarium, weighs in on the latest Mars mission, how it important it is and if NASA plans to return to the moon next.

President Biden and members of his cabinet are promoting his infrastructure spending plan. Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg is supporting it while Republicans in Congress like Louisiana Senator John Kennedy argues it is climate change and welfare spending.
