Following their expulsion from the Tennessee legislature on April 9 for protesting gun violence and calling for gun control after Nashville's most recent school shooting, the now-reinstated lawmakers Justin Jones and Justin Pearson met with Biden and Vice-President Kamala Harris in the Oval Office.
