The United States will reinstate a travel ban on non-US citizens and residents from entering the country, including people from Brazil, the United Kingdom and South Africa.
The level of COVID-19 cases in the US has passed the 25 million mark.
President Joe Biden has promised to administer 100 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines in the next three months and also wants Congress to pass a nearly $2 trillion pandemic relief bill.
