U.S. President Joe Biden on Wednesday delivered remarks at the White House honoring unions and their hard work.

Biden highlighted the importance of unions for rebuilding the economy, and for providing critical protection for workers and power in the workplace.

The president touted himself as a pro-union president, leading a pro-union administration.

He promised that labor unions are always welcome at the White House, crediting them with helping him win the presidency.

Biden also touted job growth, saying the economy has added 750,000 jobs a month for the last three months, and four million jobs since he took office.

He also took a shot at former president Donald Trump, saying the stock market has grown “exponentially” since he took office and people “haven’t heard a word about it.”
