A ceasefire in Gaza seems as far away as ever, after Israel's Prime Minister said he would not accept Hamas demands for an end to the war.

Benjamin Netanyahu said agreeing such proposals would "leave Hamas intact" and leave the possibility of another attack in future.

It comes as ceasefire talks resumed today but ended with no further agreement.
