After a milder-than-usual start, British Columbia's wildfire season is flaring up, with more than 300 active fires burning throughout the region.
A province-wide campfire ban is also in effect, with the B.C. wildfire service appealing for more help from the Canadian Interagency Forest Fire Centre.
