After undergoing a biopsy, British Columbia Premier John Horgan has confirmed the growth in his throat is cancerous. "My prognosis is good and I expect to make a full recovery. In the next couple of weeks I will need to start radiation treatment, which will conclude toward the end of December," said the 62-year-old in a statement.
In 2008, Horgan was diagnosed with bladder cancer. He was later declared cancer-free after surgery and treatment. Keith Baldrey looks at the treatment ahead for Horgan and the critical message he is sending to the general public.
