A Tumbler Ridge, B.C., man has been named Canadian Geographic Photographer of the Year, after countless journeys into the wild.
“It takes a keen eye and an incredible amount of patience,” Brandon Broderick said. “It's hours and hours of time out looking for these animals.”
Last year, Broderick was a runner-up, and now he has finally won the award that he hopes will open even more opportunities to continue the search for those unforgettable encounters.
Global’s Jay Durant has more.
