B.C. bracing for a heatwave amid unprecedented wildfire season

A significant heat wave expected to hit B.C. this weekend has led provincial authorities to ask people to take precautions. Temperatures are expected to reach the high 20s to high 30s, depending on location, with the warming trend starting Sunday on Vancouver Island and the South Coast before moving east.
