BC aims to triple licensing rate of foreign-trained doctors by 2024

With a goal to triple the number of internationally-trained doctors practising in British Columbia by 2024, the province is expanding a program to ease and expedite the licensing process for these physicians.

Thirty-one per cent of doctors currently employed in B.C. received their medical training from foreign countries.
