Racing driver and former Top Gear 'Stig' Perry McCarthy says the show has to be very careful about "putting untrained presenters in high speed situations" and they should "learn from that."

Mr McCarthy says he hopes Freddie Flintoff is well, saying "it does not appear anyone knows" what is going on with him.

Top Gear presenter Freddie Flintoff was injured in December at the long-running car show's test track at Dunsfold Park Aerodrome in Surrey. Reports suggest Mr Flintoff has quit the show.
