Flights across the United States are “gradually” resuming after a computer outage at the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) brought air traffic to a standstill across the country in a disruption that Air Canada says is expected to impact at least some Canadian flights.

President Joe Biden has ordered an investigation into an FAA system outage that grounded flights across the country and said the cause of the failure was unknown.
