During Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s visit to Japan, Russia came out claiming the longest battle of the war was over.

After months of fierce fighting, the Kremlin says Russian-backed forces have taken full control of the Eastern-Ukrainian city of Bakhmut.

As Redmond Shannon reports, Zelenskyy appeared to confirm the victory only to roll back on it later on.
