Polls have opened in Bangladesh and the General Election is being boycotted by the main opposition Party.
It claims there is no guarantee of fairness and is demanding the resignation of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, who is seeking a fourth consecutive term.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has cast her ballot in the capital Dhaka, and has called the BNP main opposition party 'a terrorist organisation'.

Al Jazeera’s Jonah Hull is in Dhaka for the latest updates.
