तवांग में चीन से हुई झड़प के बाद भारत सरहद पर मजबूत सुरक्षा चक्र बना रहा है । इसीलिए नॉर्थ ईस्ट में आज से एयरफोर्स का सैन्य अभ्यास शुरू हुआ जिसमें रफाल और सुखोई से लेकर अपाचे हेलीकॉप्टर का दम दिखाई दिया ।

48 घंटे तक चलने वाला ये युद्धाभ्यास चीन सीमा के नजदीक नॉर्थ ईस्ट में हो रहा है । युद्धाभ्यास का मकसद है एयरफोर्स की ताकत और तैयारी परखना है ।

दरअसल उत्तर-पूर्व के असम और पश्चिम बंगाल में भारतीय वायुसेना की मज़बूत उपस्थिति है । यहां वायुसेना न केवल सीमा की सुरक्षा संभालती है बल्कि अरुणाचल प्रदेश, सिक्किम और नागालैंड के उन इलाकों तक साल भर सप्लाई लाइन भी जारी रखती है जहां मौसम के कारण सड़क से यातायात मुश्किल हो जाता है। इसलिए यहां रफाल, अपाचे और चिनूक जैसे सबसे नये एयरक्राफ्ट को तैनात किया गया है ।
