हमास के ख़िलाफ़ फ़ाइनल युद्ध का ऐलान कर चुके इज़रायल की मदद के लिए अमेरिका खुलकर मैदान में उतर आया है। अमेरिका ने हथियारों से भरा एक कार्गो प्लेन इज़रायल भेजा है। हथियारों की ये पहली खेप है जो अमेरिका से इज़रायल पहुंची है। यही नहीं अमेरिका का नौसनिक जंगी बेड़ा USS गेराल्ड आर फोर्ड अपने कैरियर स्ट्राइक ग्रुप के साथ पूर्वी भूमध्य सागर पहंच चुका है और इज़रायल की समुद्री सीमा के पास खड़ा है। इस युद्धपोत पर 5000 हज़ार से ज्यादा नौसैनिक तैनात हैं। ख़तरनाक फ़ाइटर प्लेन्स और मिसाइल से लैस इस जंगी जहाज़ पर लड़ाकू और सपोर्ट विमानों के 8 स्क्वाड्रन हैं। साथ ही गाइडेड मिसाइल क्रूजर और मिसाइल डेस्ट्रॉयर भी इस जंगी जहाज़ पर तैनात हैं। अमेरिका के इस ऐक्शन से तुर्किए भड़क गया है। तुर्किए के राष्ट्रपति रेचेप तैयप एर्दोआन ने आरोप लगाया है कि अमेरिका युद्ध की आड़ लेकर गाज़ा और आसपास के इलाकों में नरसंहार करना चाहता है।
