Aviation industry leaders have pledged to ensure net-zero carbon emissions by 2050 - weeks ahead of global climate talks in Glasgow.
But the move is being opposed by Chinese airlines, while some analysts aren't even sure that target can be met.
The impact of the coronavirus pandemic, the biggest crisis in the industry's history, was also discussed at the International Air Transport Association's annual meeting, the first to be held in person since 2019.
