At least 8 dead in Ukraine's Mykolaiv after rocket hits regional HQ, officials say

At least eight people were killed and 22 wounded after a purported Russian rocket hit the regional administration building in the Ukrainian city of Mykolaiv on Tuesday, officials said.

Surveillance video said to be filmed from the city's regional state administration building showed a large plume of smoke billowing into the air after the rocket hit the building.

The emergencies service says several of the wounded were pulled from the rubble by rescue workers, who were still working on the scene.
