The Ukrainian capital of Kyiv was hit by a drone attack on Monday, with officials claiming Russia had hit key infrastructure in and around the city.
Emergency crews released video showing firefighters battling flames at an energy infrastructure site, with 43 personnel on the scene fighting until the flames were put out.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, in the wake of the attack, called for Western allies to supply air defence systems, as well as more armoured vehicles.
"A 100 per cent air shield for Ukraine will be one of the most successful steps against Russian aggression," Zelenskyy told leaders in a video call to countries in the Joint Expeditionary Force, a British-led grouping of Northern European countries.

Villagers in the community of Stari Bezradychi, south of Kyiv, were left searching through the rubble of homes that had been damaged or destroyed by the attack, leaving some homeless as temperatures continue to drop.
