At least 25 people were killed and more than 50 injured on Tuesday when two explosions rocked the Sardar Mohammad Daud Khan military hospital in Kabul Afghanistan, followed shortly after by gunmen assaulting the site.
A Taliban spokesperson said four of the attackers were killed by Taliban security forces and a fifth was captured, but there has been no immediate claim of responsibility for the attack.
The blasts were the latest in a list of attacks and killings since the Taliban completed their takeover of the country earlier this year following the withdrawal of U.S. troops.
