At least 10 people are dead in Madagascar and tens of thousands of people have been displaced after Cyclone Batsirai slammed into Madagascar's eastern coastline on Sunday.
Aid agencies have prepared food to distribute to those in need and UN evacuation flights are on standby as families fill local evacuation centres.
The cyclone later weakened as it crossed the island nation but not before wreaking havoc in the poor Indian Ocean country, still reeling from a deadly tropical storm in late January.
