As bombs rain down on Ukraine, Guterres says Kyiv must be spared

As the United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres makes his first visit to Ukraine's capital during the war, Russia has fired cruise missiles at targets in the city.
The country's president Volodymyr Zelenskyy said it was an attempt by Russia to insult the UN, with one of his advisers describing the strike as a postcard from Moscow.
