Protests over the police killing of Andrew Brown Junior continue in the US state of North Carolina where he was fatally shot by sheriff’s deputies last week, as Brown’s family viewed bodycam footage of the incident.
Brown, a Black man, was killed on April 21 in Elizabeth City, North Carolina, by police serving a drug-related arrest warrant, sparking days of protest.
His relatives and their attorneys say Brown posed no threat to officers as he tried to leave the scene in his vehicle.
