Peruvian security forces have carried out widespread, deliberate attacks on anti-government protesters, according to Amnesty International.
The rights group says security forces committed extrajudicial executions and used “lethal ammunition” during the weeks-long demonstrations that began last December.
At least 49 people were killed.
