In the U.S., Johnson & Johnson has begun shipping nearly four million doses of its newly-authorized vaccine. It is expected Canada will also approve the vaccine in the coming days.

Health Canada’s chief medical adviser said Monday Canada had received the “last piece” of manufacturing data needed to make a decision on the vaccine.

The advantage of this vaccine is that it can be stored in a refrigerator, instead of freezing temperatures, and only requires one dose. Jackson Proskow explains how it stands up to some of the more contagious variants causing so much concern.
