All eyes on Blackpool and Tees Valley as Sunak comes under pressure in the north

Rishi Sunak's northern 'Blue Wall' faces a major political stress test this week with a by-election in Blackpool and a mayoral vote in Tees Valley.

The two seats used to be solid Labour constituencies - part of the so-called Labour 'Red Wall' - until Boris Johnson persuaded them to vote Conservative.

So what now? Are voters happy with Rishi Sunak? Or are looking to return back to Labour?
