Albertans embracing the hot summer weather with some cool activities

People lucky enough to be on vacation amid 30 C temperatures in Edmonton have several options to embrace the heat.

Some areas of Alberta could see temperatures hit 37 C, as Environment and Climate Change Canada expects July 9 and 10, 2024 to be the hottest days of the week. Nearly all of Alberta, with the exception of the Jasper area, remained under a heat warning.

From the classic childhood sound of ice cream trucks rolling through neighbourhoods to a dip in the newly reopened and renovated Mill Creek Outdoor Pool, Jaclyn Kucey caught up with Edmontonians trying to cool off.
