At least eight people died in Europe after severe storms, 31 people died from flooding in Brazil and more than 80 million Americans are living through blazing temperatures and yet another heat alert. It all comes as the planet reached an alarming milestone this summer. William Brangham discussed the impacts with Gavin Schmidt.
