Germany has, it seems, accepted that it must return priceless works of art looted and stolen during colonial times. Most spectacularly, authorities here in Berlin have now agreed to hand back to
Nigeria at least a share of a huge collection of plundered artefacts known as the Benin Bronzes. It's being called a "turning point in Germany's approach to it colonial history."
