There is a lot of excitement in Cameroon where the 33rd edition of the Africa Cup of Nations tournament is kicking off on Sunday. The African Football Confederation has set strict protocols for AFCON. All spectators must be fully vaccinated and show a negative PCR test less than 72 hours before a match. Stadiums can only be filled up to sixty percent capacity. But that will be increased to 80 percent when Cameroon's national team plays. The tournament begins with Cameroon taking on Burkina Faso at the Olembe stadium in Yaounde. I'll be talking to our reporter in Yaounde after this report.
