How climate change inflames armed conflict in Africa | DW News Africa

Ahead of this year's global climate confernce, COP28, there is concern about how the changing climate can fuel armed conflicts on the continent. One example is Cameroon, where climate change has displaced large numbers of people in the far north of the country. Fighting over water supplies in 2021 forced thousands of people to leave their homes. The UNHCR reported that around 50 people were killed in the clashes.  
Two years later, many people have not been able to return. DW’s Blaise Eyong traveled to the village of Bogo.
