As Afghans struggle to board planes out of Kabul, the UK government promises "one of the most generous resettlement schemes in our country's history".

But while a lot of the details are still to be ironed out, preparations are well underway for rehousing thousands of Afghan men, women and children - including many currently being put up in hotels and other temporary accommodation.
