With the Taliban now in full control of Kabul and all of Afghanistan, many Afghan women who were unable to flee the country are now in hiding, dreading a life of oppression under the terrorist organization.

Since taking over the capital and despite their own brutal history, the Taliban have claimed they are changing stances on women, vowing to respect their rights and forgive those who fought against them.

But as Crystal Goomansingh reports, many are not buying those promises, as aid groups are still trying desperately to get women to safety.
