With the Taliban also now in control of Kabul's airport, many of them will likely take a dangerous journey to the country's land border with Afghanistan to escape.
On the trail of the Canadian election campaign, Liberal Leader Justin Trudeau was once again pressured on how Canada can stay committed to getting those refugees out safely. As David Akin reports, the Trudeau government is still vague on their plan's specifics.
