International aid agencies still operating in Afghanistan are appealing for more funding to help victims of flash flooding.
At least 300 people have been killed and more than sixteen hundred injured in Baghlan province. Thousands have been displaced from farmland that is no longer usable. The World Food Programme says many of those affected are already in 'hunger hotspots' and their conditions may soon become catastrophic.
