US President Joe Biden is set to host his Afghani counterpart Ashraf Ghani at the White House later today. The two are meeting as US troops withdraw from Afghanistan -- leaving a power vacuum that the Taliban is preparing to fill. Biden has previously promised billions of dollars in security assistance for Afghanistan, but as Taliban forces gain ground, it's not clear if that will be enough to hold them back.
