At least seven children between the ages of 12 and 17 were injured during a shooting in Indianapolis, Ind., on Saturday evening.

The victims were rushed to nearby hospitals. One of the seven was left in critical condition, but later upgraded to stable condition, according to Indianapolis Metropolitan Police deputy chief Tanya Terry.

“Currently, our investigators are on the scene processing all evidence available, including potential witnesses and video that might be available,” Terry said, adding that more than one firearm was involved in the incident.

“It is extremely concerning to us that so many of our young people have been victims of gun violence this evening,” she said, after confirming the authorities do not yet have a shooter in custody.
