At least 5 Palestinians were reportedly killed and several others wounded in Gaza after parachutes failed to deploy boxes of humanitarian aid fell on them by mistake.

The incidents comes as efforts to establish a new Maritime corridor are underway, in the hope of improving the flow of food and medical supplies to Gazans in desperate need of supplies amid the ongoing Israel-Hamas conflict.
