Three Ukrainian children who escaped the war in Ukraine and moved to Edmonton are now stuck in Mexico.

Their guardian was surprised to learn they couldn't get back into the country, and is now begging the government for help.

The guardian, who wanted to take the kids for a vacation after what they’ve been through, said that immigration officers assured them that they could travel with the documents they have.

But the problem is that they have a special type of visa that's only valid for one entry into Canada, and they haven't been able to get approval to come back for the past two months. Global’s Saif Kaisar has the story.
