We all know what it is like to make sacrifices, but one B.C. woman is making a major sacrifice of her own by leaving her family to volunteer in Ukraine.

April Huggett has been helping civilians and soldiers in the war-torn country for 17 months, even though she had originally planned to be there for just 20 days.

Mike Armstrong speaks with Huggett about what inspired her to help on the front lines.
