हिंदू धर्म के ख़िलाफ़ लगातार उटपटांग बयान देने वाले समाजवादी पार्टी के नेता स्वामी प्रसाद मौर्या ने एक बार फिर श्रीराम के बारे में विवादित बयान दिया। इस बार उन्होंने उत्तर प्रदेश विधान परिषद में विवादित बयान दिया. रामलला की प्राण प्रतिष्ठा समारोह पर सवाल उठाते हुए पूछा कि जब हज़ारों साल से देश में राम की पूजा हो रही है तो फिर प्राण प्रतिष्ठा कार्यक्रम पर अरबों रुपये ख़र्च करने की ज़रूरत क्या थी. स्वामी प्रसाद मौर्या यहीं नहीं रुके उन्होंने प्राण प्रतिष्ठा कार्यक्रम को BJP-RSS और विश्व हिंदू परिषद का निजी कार्यक्रम बता डाला.
