Maldivian President Mohamed Muizzu on Tuesday appealed to China to "intensify" efforts to send more tourists to his country, amid a spate of cancellation of reservations by Indian tourists after a diplomatic row erupted over the derogatory remarks by his ministers against Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

भारत के साथ पंगा लेने वाले मालदीव के राष्‍ट्रपति मोहम्‍मद मुइज्‍जू ने चीन से ज्‍यादा से ज्‍यादा पर्यटक भेजने की गुहार लगाई है. चीन की यात्रा पर पहुंचे मुइज्‍जू ने भारतीयों के बॉयकाट मालदीव की अपील के बाद चीन से यह अपील की है. दरअसल, चीन के लिए पर्यटक एक तरीके से सीक्रेट वेपन हैं जिसका इस्‍तेमाल वह बीजिंग के सुर में सुर मिलाने वाले देशों की मदद करने के लिए करता है.
